What is Hackathon?
Hackathon is an event in which a large number of people meet to engage in collaborative computer programming.
But Microsoft presents Code; Without Barriers Hackathon is not just another hackathon. All women are invited to showcase their Data and AI skills to hack and advance in their career. We hope to introduce additional chances for women of all races and ages to be equally recognized in the world that’s constantly developing technology by riding the wave of linking women to a wider knowledge and platform.
We believe that through this collaboration, it will help expose the next generation of tech talent that gender equality exists for the good of everyone. This means more flexible working arrangements, more women in leadership roles and more encouragement at an early age for girls and boys to pursue whatever they are naturally interested in. It’s an uphill battle, but the world needs it.
